Overview Meets hiring goals as set by the Talent Acquisition Director by creating and implementing effective recruitment strategies utilizing a variety of recruitment resources such as job boards, job fairs, open houses, networking, advertising and outreach activities. Develop and maintain a pipeline of talent from these efforts. Opens requisitions in Workday, make updates as needed moving candidates through process as steps are completed. Updates trackers with notes for tracking of progress of candidates through process. Screen all applicants and determine appropriate next steps based upon experience, knowledge, skill, ability, position description requirements, and in consideration of open positions. Utilize and adhere to company recruitment process in a timely, professional, and effective manner. Arrange for and complete applicant interviews. Track candidates through the recruitment process. Communicate effectively with regional teams regarding candidates. Make job offer to candidate after consulting with the management team/hiring manager in compliance with company policy. Assist candidates with BID, TB appointments, background checks and other pre-hire steps as needed. Notify candidates that are not selected for employment per company policy. Attends NEO as needed to assist new hires with I-9 paperwork, and other tasks. Create new employee personnel file and ensure all appropriate new hire documentation is present; forward to designated regional employee for recordkeeping and retention. Obtain and ensure any certifications for training are properly recorded and stored per company and/or licensing standards and regulations. Assist in developing materials to support recruitment and on-boarding efforts that project HIL’s core values and mission. Maintain current knowledge of programs and management teams. Visit programs in assigned region(s) on a regular basis to develop rapport and remain abreast of program operations, client demographics, and upcoming staffing needs. Report allegations of abuse, resident rights violations, conflict of interest, harassment, or fraud to appropriate level of management. Other tasks as assigned by the Talent Acquisition Director to assist the hiring and growth of talent at HIL Additional Information High School diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. At least 3 years of previous recruitment experience preferred. Strong recruiting skills using ATS, sourcing platforms and public speaking. Maintain valid Wisconsin Driver’s license; maintain insurance on personal vehicle. Must be able to travel to different work locations, meetings, and training sessions. Demonstrate flexibility, autonomy, responsiveness, sound judgment and a high level of initiative. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with prior work experience in using software and vendor programs to develop reports, prepare documents, etc. Highly effective communicator through both written and spoken words. Maintain self-composure and self-control under stressful conditions. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and respect through appearance, interactions with others and engagement. Demonstrate ability to work fluctuating and flexible hours as dictated by business needs. Highly organized with an ability to work under tight deadlines and with little direction.
