About The Position

Monitors, directs and controls the movement of all aircraft on the FedEx Express ramp areas and coordinate this activity with the appropriate department.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree/equivalent in Air Traffic Control or related degree.
• Must possess FAA Control Tower Operator (CTO) License/Credentials, or FAA Collegiate Training Initiative (CTI) Certificate, or Airport/Airline Ramp Tower Operator Certificate.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a fully certified Control Tower Operator in an FAA/ Military Air Traffic Control Facility, or Airport/Airline Ramp Tower Operator.
• CTI certification satisfies the (3) year experience requirement.
• Strong planning, organizing, decision making and communication skills.
• Must have 20/20 or correctable to 20/20 vision.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness with significant attention to detail in a time critical environment.

• Completes special reports, projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
