About The Position

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions. This role involves utilizing state-of-the-art inline RDA Inspection equipment and processes to troubleshoot, inspect, and develop software to improve and monitor line health. The engineer will develop inspection techniques, recipes, interactive team member programs, and data transfer applications to quantify the performance of wafer fabrication and team support. The position focuses on detecting problems and making changes to develop applications that improve data collection and wafer fabrication, using data analysis skills and software development to visualize, report, and quantify processes. The role requires collaboration with engineers in process integration, process development, data science, and yield analysis within the facility. Responsibilities include supporting experimentation, data analysis, baseline health metrics, software development for data transfer, data collection, and reporting, as well as partnering with others in Technical Development and High-Volume Manufacturing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Applying data science and data manipulation including scripting or coding
  • Python, C, C++, SQL, or Java
  • RDA or semiconductor manufacturing techniques, including analytical techniques applied to manufacturing-related data
  • Semiconductor physics, programming field, real time data processing/transfer, transistor operations, scaling limitations and reliability
  • Data Science and analysis, including Pandas, NumPy, or Jupyter
  • Utilizing JMP, SPOTFIRE, or Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Utilize state-of-the-art inline RDA Inspection equipment and processes to troubleshoot, inspect, develop software to improve and monitor the line health.
  • Develop inspection techniques, recipes, interactive team member programs, data transfer and applications to quantify the performance of wafer fabrication and team support.
  • Detect problems and make changes to develop applications to improve data collection and wafer fabrication.
  • Use data analysis skills and software development to visualize, report and quantify processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers in process integration, process development, data science, and yield analysis within the facility.
  • Support experimentation, data analysis, baseline health metrics, software development to improve data transfer, data collection and reporting.
  • Partner with others in Technical Development and High-Volume Manufacturing.
