M2S2 SETA - Sr Radar Engineer
About The Position
Semper Valens Solutions, Inc. (SVS) is seeking a Sr Radar Engineer to provide engineering support for ground-based target acquisition radars. This role emphasizes performance in counter rocket, artillery, mortar, and air surveillance. The engineer will be involved in developing and reviewing requirements, generating baselines, and creating system and subsystem specifications for radar sensor elements. Responsibilities include analyzing radar system requirements, understanding systems architecture and integration, developing test strategies, evaluating radar designs, identifying performance shortcomings, diagnosing root causes, and proposing design changes or corrective actions. The position also requires interfacing with multi-disciplinary product development teams to support design, integration, and testing.
Requirements
- A minimum of Ten (10) years of Radar Engineering experience is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- TOP Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support for ground based target acquisition radars with an emphasis on counter rocket, artillery, mortar and air surveillance performance.
- Develop and review requirements generation and baselines.
- Create system and subsystem specifications for elements of a radar sensor based on top-level radar system requirements.
- Analyze systems architecture and integration.
- Develop test strategies and methodologies to evaluate new or competing radar designs.
- Identify shortcomings in radar performance and diagnose root causes.
- Develop design changes or corrective actions.
- Interface with multi-disciplinary product development teams in support of design, integration and test.
