About The Position

Ehrhardt Tool & Machine is looking for a Sr. Quality Control Inspector. The Sr. Quality Inspector will test and inspect products at various stages of the production process and compile and evaluate data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Microsoft office programs, ISO9000:2000, basic metrology, print reading, geometric tolerancing and total quality systems.
2-4 years machine shop inspection.
CMM, visual comparators, and other inspection equipment operation.
No heavy lifting required.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

Editing or programming experience with CMM.

Responsibilities

Perform first piece/start-up inspections.
Perform in-process inspections. Ensure operators, machinists, deburring personnel check their own work.
Perform final inspection prior to plating and shipping.
Accept or reject parts/product based on customer specification and inspection results.
Ability to operate a CMM, editing or programming experience a plus.
Initiate DMR as a result of rejected material.
Perform measurement equipment verifications and/or calibrations and document results.
Work with other team members and manufacturing personnel in a cooperative and constructive manner.
Conform to the company quality system as documented.
Any other duties as assigned by management.
