Summary As a Sr Quality Chem Tech, you will ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of products from our Mountain Home facility through detailed Chemistry Laboratory analyses. You will perform routine and unexpected testing, contributing significantly to achieving perfect outcomes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma with 1-3 years of Quality experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and capability to operate other relevant software.
  • Knowledge of GMP documentation is required.
  • Ability to operate a variety of basic hand tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, collaborative great teammate, and meticulous.
  • Highly motivated and comfortable working autonomously with minimal direction.
  • Capable of making routine decisions in the absence of supervision and prioritizing work responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out fundamental laboratory duties, including both routine and non-routine tests, inspections, and calibrations.
  • Inspect products according to protocol and suggest improvements for efficiency and quality.
  • Read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and maintain JIBs, SOPs, and Specs.
  • Ensure good documentation practices are strictly followed at all times.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of Baxter’s GMP and adherence to procedures.
  • Follow instructions and mentorship from department Chemists.
  • Promote continuous improvement by participating in teams and projects.
  • Communicate effectively across all departments and levels of management.
  • Consistently demonstrate self-motivation and the capacity to think autonomously.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
