About The Position

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer – Automation with 5 years of experience in quality assurance with a focus on automation to design, implement, and improve automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, scalability, and reliability of software applications.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
5 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
Experience building automated test frameworks
Familiarity with coding and debugging
Experience with API and microservices testing
Experience with cloud-based environments, i.e. Azure
Excellent collaboration, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with performance testing
Experience with Postman, Playwright, and/or Thunder Client

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.
Lead the automation strategy, prioritizing efforts based on risk, impact, and business needs; establish and enforce automation standards and best practices.
Convert manual test cases into automated solutions.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Execute, monitor, and maintain automated regression and smoke test suites to ensure product stability and quality.
Conduct root cause analysis on defects and test failures.
Prepare and communicate quality metrics and status reports to management.
Collaborate with s Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are clearly defined.
