About The Position

This position is responsible for product quality and customer satisfaction of the complete MIRATECH product line, primarily with the Tulsa Operations group. The Sr QA/QC Coordinator will support the implementation of quality processes, assist in the development and implementation of the Quality compliance program, and conduct inspections and audits of internal products, processes, and systems to monitor quality compliance. This role also supports operational efficiency, continuous improvement activities, and assists with inspections and audits of vendors and suppliers. The coordinator will perform risk assessments, review quality assurance documentation, and verify that products meet regulatory and company standards prior to delivery. Additionally, they will perform investigations of issues and incidents, work with production and quality teams to identify potential risks and recommend corrective actions, and maintain accurate records. The role involves supporting updates to internal quality standards, initiating and processing corrective actions, performing Root Cause Analysis, creating FMEA and PPAPs, assisting with training, reporting quality issues, and ensuring equipment calibration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 5 years of experience in quality control
  • Extensive experience with steel fabrication, welding, and assembly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and across all departments
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of quality processes for MIRATECH-manufactured products.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of our Quality compliance program.
  • Conduct inspections and audits of internal products, processes, and systems to monitor quality compliance.
  • Support operational efficiency and continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with inspections and audits of vendors and suppliers to verify adherence to MIRATECH's quality standards.
  • Perform risk assessments for compliance with regulatory standards, and MIRATECH QMS.
  • Review and organize quality assurance documentation, including test reports, specifications, and compliance records.
  • Help verify that products meet regulatory and company standards prior to delivery.
  • Perform investigations of issues and incidents to determine corrective actions.
  • Work with production and quality teams to identify potential risks that lead to quality issues and assist in recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and audit activities.
  • Support updates to internal quality standards and procedures.
  • Initiate and process internal Corrective Actions and Supplier Corrective Actions.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis.
  • Create (P/D) FMEA and PPAPs as required.
  • Assist with training team members on quality control procedures and documentation practices.
  • Report quality issues and non-conformities and help track resolution efforts.
  • Help ensure testing and measuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
