About The Position

Digital Management LLC is seeking a Sr QA Engineer – Big Data for a full-time professional position. The role involves conducting business analysis, developing test strategies, preparing test automation architecture and scripts, executing automated test scripts, preparing test reports, performing defect tracking and management, conducting various types of testing (functional, regression, integration, database, API, ETL, performance, load), preparing use case documents, participating in client review meetings, and developing mock-ups. The position is based in McLean, VA, with potential relocation to unanticipated work sites throughout the United States. Travel is not required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electronics engineering or foreign equivalent.
2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related software quality assurance engineer/software tester position.
2 years of verifiable experience testing software applications employing the following tools and technologies: HP QC, HP ALM, HP Load Runner, Selenium Webdriver, Tricentis – TOSCA, JMeter, SAP BO.

Responsibilities

Conduct business analysis, including requirements elicitation and documentation support.
Develop test strategies for both functional and nonfunctional entities.
Test automation architecture and test scripts preparation.
Execute automated test scripts to validate system performance and functionality.
Prepare Test Reports (Test Run Report, Crash Report, Incident Report, Test Cycle Report, Test Summary Report).
Perform defect tracking and manage defect resolution throughout the testing lifecycle.
Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
Ensure that specific elements of the product are thoroughly tested per the Test Plan documentation.
Prepare detailed use case documents to support system design and validation.
Participate in regular review meetings with client stakeholders to communicate progress and gather feedback.
Perform database testing to validate data integrity and system interactions.
Conduct API testing to ensure proper integration and functionality of system interfaces.
Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Conduct performance and load testing to assess system scalability and responsiveness.
Develop mock-ups to support requirements validation and user interface design.
