About The Position

Ensures support to the program management team regarding all quality related issues on programs to support its objective achievement in terms of quality, supplier & subcontractor quality, and customer satisfaction. Applies program quality procedures and plans and ensures appropriate implementation and compliance from the program team. Identifies and mitigates program risks. This role requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in its job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. The candidate will solve complex problems, work independently with minimal guidance, and may lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for on-going activities or objectives. The Sr Project QA Engineer will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and consistently exercise discretion and judgment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power BI, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation, maturity assessment and improvement of all processes throughout the production lifecycle to improve customer satisfaction and increase profitability in a safe working environment.
  • Leads program team members to evaluate risks, problems and solutions from a quality and customer/stakeholder point of view.
  • Identifies Quality Assurance activities to mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with the program team to develop schedules, estimates, forecasts, and budgets for quality activities.
  • Validates effective internal controls system is in place to verify that processes continue to meet customer and stakeholder requirements.
  • Performs audits on program delivery and ensures the use of Quality data analytics to identify risks and nonconformances and ensures that appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.
  • Responsible for overseeing program quality requirements, identifying and mitigating program risks, ensuring on time and accurate submission of Customer Deliverable Documentation Requirements, analyze program defects, trend analysis and conduct root cause analysis as applicable to eliminate defects and improve product quality, cost and schedule.
