Sr. Project Manager

Nscale
$115,000 - $145,000Remote

About The Position

We're looking for a Sr. Project Manager to serve as the execution backbone of our project management function, owning day-to-day schedule tracking, cost performance reporting, and program status reporting across Nscale's active datacenter and manufacturing programs. You're comfortable owning integrated schedules, action logs, and task management across multiple concurrent programs. You have strong documentation and communication skills, with the ability to write clear status reports, briefings, and escalation summaries. You're comfortable working with KPI and SLA data to identify trends and surface insights. You're a self-starter, curious, and quick to learn, knowing what questions to ask to get up to speed quickly. You're extremely organized and diligent, with no tolerance for dropped tasks or missed follow-through.

Requirements

  • 6+ years in project management, PMO operations, or program coordination within infrastructure or hardware-intensive environments.
  • Hands-on experience with project and task management tooling — Linear/Procore, Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational skills — able to manage multiple concurrent programs with no slippage.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills — able to write clear status reports, briefings, and escalation summaries.
  • Experience supporting executive communications and briefing preparation in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working with KPI data and SLA metrics, able to identify trends and surface insights from operational data.
  • Experience with cost performance reporting, burn rate analysis, and change control log management within capital programs or PMO environments; familiarity with earned value concepts a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

  • Own the action log: assign owners, set due dates, track follow-through, and escalate overdue items with context and recommended next steps.
  • Flag schedule risks, dependency conflicts, and delivery gaps in advance — never after the fact.
  • Run weekly program status meetings and produce concise, structured status reports on program health.
  • Track program progress across strategic initiatives, surfacing blockers early.
  • Maintain Linear/Procore as the authoritative source for task status across all active programs — keeping tasks assigned, sequenced, prioritized, and closed on cadence.
  • Own the program change control log, capturing every scope, cost, or schedule change with documented impact assessment and approval status.
  • Produce burn rate analysis and estimate-to-complete reports on a regular cadence, flagging cost trends and variances before they become material.
  • Maintain the cost performance reporting layer for all active programs, tracking actuals against approved budgets.
  • Coordinate on weekly integrated cost-schedule reconciliation, ensuring schedule changes are reflected in cost impact assessments.
  • Support cost data for QBR packages and board-level reporting.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials, pre-reads, and agendas, ensuring every forum is well-prepared and action-oriented.
  • Maintain an internal KPI tracking system across support functions (e.g., Legal, Procurement, Recruitment), logging response times, SLA adherence, and cycle times.
  • Produce internal performance reports on cadence, flagging anomalies and emerging bottlenecks with supporting data.

Benefits

  • Highly competitive package (base + equity) with reviews every 12 months.
  • Flexible workplace trusts Nscalers to deliver, giving you the autonomy to shape your day around life's moments.
  • medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.
