About The Position

WSP is seeking a part-time Sr. Project Manager for its Power & Energy team. The position is based in Denver, Colorado, with New Orleans, Louisiana, also considered. Remote work from a mutually acceptable location within the United States may be available, with periodic travel to WSP and/or client offices for in-person meetings. The role provides administrative and technical project-management guidance for designated projects in support of business-line goals. It oversees the full project lifecycle—from proposals and planning through execution, reporting, and closeout—to ensure work meets or exceeds company project-excellence and delivery standards. The position also provides practical direction and innovation to address project-management challenges in a changing business and operations environment. The Senior Project Manager leads larger-scale and more complex projects, overseeing budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, risks, hours, expenses, contractual obligations, and project performance. The role builds stakeholder and client relationships; supports project pursuits, contract reviews, risk mitigation, pricing, and negotiations; and drives appropriate technical reviews and quality processes. It provides strategic client advice, mentors and guides staff, coordinates project resources and subcontractors, maintains project plans and documentation, and oversees reporting, problem-project reviews, recovery planning, accounts receivable, unbilled revenue, and project closeout. Up to 25% travel may be required depending on project needs.
