This is a hybrid role and the location will be in Seattle. The ideal Project Manager is a highly adaptive individual with expertise in managing multiple workstreams to bring to life a core product. This is done at a fast pace within a large, complex organization. The Sr Project Manager of the Miami Design District location is responsible for the successful opening of our new shoe-focused Nordstrom location. Over the course of the project, the Sr Project Manager will need to communicate with cross-functional teams to make decisions and monitor the progress of our opening milestones, delivering on the three key elements of scope, budget and timeline. Daily disciplines include overseeing all aspects of projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, continuously clarifying risks/dependencies/resources needed, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project. The role is complex in that it requires an individual who can work well independently and as part of the Nordstrom store team, flex their focus from short-term to long-term priorities, and collaborate with many teams (Store Design & Construction, Merchandising Strategy & Execution, Store Operations, Asset Protection, Technology, Marketing, HR, Learning & Leadership, and Regional Leaders) with two-way feedback and maintaining close relationships.
