About The Position

The Senior Project Manager at Primoris Services Corporation will lead and oversee large-scale, complex construction projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage project teams, stakeholders, and resources effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in project management within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on civil, pipeline, power, or utility infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant industry regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget forecasting, and detailed schedules.
  • Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, maintaining clear and consistent communication.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage change orders, and resolve disputes effectively to protect company interests.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management, detailing progress, challenges, and financial performance.
  • Oversee project closeout activities, including final inspections, documentation, and handover to clients.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency.
