About The Position

As a Sr. Project Manager, Systems, you will play a central role in delivering the next generation of the Ottava surgical robotics platform by orchestrating documentation release, safety and risk management, and change control for the entire system.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager or equivalent in complex, multi-project or multi-system environments.
  • Professional experience in a regulated industry such as medical devices, aerospace, automotive, or defense.
  • Formal professional experience in a mix of lifecycle management, safety and risk management, and document control.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering, medicine, or another technical discipline is appreciated but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent scheduling tools.
  • Experience using Airtable and/or Atlassian tools.
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally between sites.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing config mgmt. practices, policies, tools, andreports
  • Provide program visibility into current configurations, desired configurations
  • Change management process andsustaining (CRB process, impact assessment)
  • Data system improvements to facilitate configuration management (Jira, Airtable)
  • Process improvement efforts to improve program’s configuration management practices, policies, and tools
  • Establish System owners team, roles and responsibilities, training, and empowerment
  • Scheduling activities across all Ottava systems to facilitate necessary program activities (V&V, customer demonstrations, feature development, etc)
  • Planning and execution of upgrades on Ottava systems to unblock program activities
  • Process improvement efforts to improve program’s system andtool management practices, policies, and tools
