That’s how we’re UNSTOPPABLE for our employees! This position is responsible for managing a high volume of concurrent small- to mid-size projects in the promotion and offers area. Promotions and offers have fast speed to market, and have impacts across a multitude of T-Mobile applications and functional areas. This position will manage work utilizing standard project management methodologies and processes – projects have clear start/end dates, specific resource allocations and have clear connection to company's performance. Enterprise Core Competencies: Requires competency in customer focus, dealing with ambiguity, championing change, building relationships, core project management and can-do attitude. For promos laddering up to larger initiatives, works with the project or program manager to ensure accurate representation of the promotion workstream in terms of scope, schedule and risk profile. Works with the promo team to ensure optimal customer experience. Proactively identifies potential risks to the project and puts in place mitigation plans with team’s input. Adheres and manages to standard processes and change controls. Works with the cross-functional team to establish solid launch readiness. Assesses quality of documentation and deliverables. Proactively identifies, recommends and contributes to improvements of standard processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • 4-7 yrs formal project management work experience
  • Must be proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Visio
  • Working understanding of and ability to utilize PM principles and practices
  • Great written and verbal communication skills, utilized with all peer and management levels
  • Proficient in managing virtual teams and working sessions
  • Ability to identify project impacting issues and work with more senior peers or managers develop and implement solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience

Nice To Haves

  • Formal Project Mgmt certification (college certificate, CAPM, PMP, etc.) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Is accountable for creating and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Effectively utilizes these partnerships to drive project delivery while maintaining a strong sense of respect and trust on the project team.
  • Creates and drives project status reporting and meetings as communication and management tools to maintain project health, and to provide transparency to risks and issues that require stakeholder support and action.
  • Creates a project schedule through defining needed activities and resources.
  • Communicates up, down and sideways with key stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Utilizes own experience and the project team's input to define scope, and to outline the project workplan accordingly.
  • Helps others to understand the impact of change and motivates them to rally behind it.
