About The Position

Miyamoto International is establishing its Las Vegas presence and is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to play a key role in this expansion. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior structural engineers, receive mentorship, and gain hands-on experience in client management, business development, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. The role involves exposure to engineering and management decision-making across various project types, with the potential for significant growth and leadership as the Las Vegas office expands. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a passion for helping others, and a drive to improve the quality of their work.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architectural or Civil engineering or related field (with a structural engineering focus).
• 5+ years of structural and earthquake engineering design experience.
• Advanced structural analysis and design skills in all common building materials.
• Exposure to project management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• PE license required.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s with emphasis on structure engineering preferred.
• SE preferred.

Responsibilities
