About The Position

Super Products is currently accepting applications to fill the position of Sr. Project Engineer at our location in Mukwonago, WI. This role is responsible for leading the design, improvement, and support of vacuum truck production, managing engineering projects from concept through production while driving product performance, quality, and cost improvements.

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Perform advanced calculations, verification, and documentation.
Strong knowledge of product design methodologies to develop and detail component and assembly designs for complex systems.
Proficient in SolidWorks, MSOffice suite, and familiarity with ERP systems.
Exhibit a high level of customer focus.
Possess a hands-on, can-do attitude.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related emphasis required.
Minimum seven (7) years of product design experience in a manufacturing or industrial work environment.
Previous DFMA and project leadership with specific experience in heavy equipment, and proven track record for executing successful engineering projects.

Responsibilities

Planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting the engineering tasks and resources of development projects and sustaining engineering activities.
Engineering design and documentation include detailed and assembly drawings of structural weldments and vacuum, water pressure, and hydraulic systems, and integration with electrical systems.
Create and maintain bills of materials.
Participate in the ECO process and perform related changes.
Collaborate with production team and vendors to produce designs that minimize labor and overall cost.
Provide technical support for production and service to help troubleshoot problems as needed.
Participate in process improvement projects to continually improve business practices.
Engineering analysis includes structural analysis, drive system calculations, product validation testing, and component selection.
Supporting business activities and providing engineering responses to other departments.
Develop, execute, and document product hazard reviews.
