Requirements

• Ability to work and relate well with children and adults (ages 6 months-and up)
• A love for teaching, water, and aquatics programming
• A desire to grow professionally through aquatics
• CPR and AED for Adult and Child certification
• American Red Cross First Aid certification
• Ability to work in high stress conditions, using critical thinking, and customer service savvy
• Must be able to show great customer service to all customers and employee teammates of SwimRVA

Nice To Haves

• College degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Swimming experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Swim School programs.
• Demonstrate teaching modalities.
• Guide coaches using SwimRVA metrics and development tools.
• Maintain lesson quality.
• Shape enthusiastic swimmers of all ages.
• Focus on staff training and development.
• Uplift Swim School coaches and foster their growth.
• Enhance programming impact.
