Exercise primary responsibility for the law enforcement program using the POST (Peace Officer Standards and Training) model, standards and curriculum. The program collaborates to meet the needs of law enforcement agencies in the service region and serve their employment needs. The coordinator will identify, supervise, and coordinate with the teachers to deliver POST certified instruction. The Coordinator will also coordinate activities associated with the recruitment and advising of students, as well as the continuous development, management, and improvement of the program. Maintain composure in a high stress environment that includes training students in the use of live firearms, fire evacuations and water rescues and other scenarios.
