About The Position

This position performs advanced financial duties and serves as the lead worker in the AOD (Ariba On Demand) Payment Unit and functions as the primary backup to the Financial Specialist Supervisor. Serves as the subject matter expert for the AOD Payment Unit by resolving complex audit and payment issues involving internal staff, the Department of Juvenile Justices, and other state entities such as the Department of Financial Services, and external vendors. Leads and coordinates the work of the Accountant IIs within the unit, including assigning tasks and monitoring of workload progress. Provides training on AOD and PALM systems to departmental liaisons and Finance and Accounting staff. Runs daily reconciliation and pending-workload reports in AOD and assigns tasks for staff for timely processing. Reviews and processes vendor-submitted electronic invoices in MFMP (MyFloridaMarketPlace), conducting detailed audits to validate accuracy and adherence to requirements. Demonstrates exemplary customer service in interactions with agency personnel and vendors. Performs other related duties as assigned.
