About The Position

The Senior Product Manager II will own and execute strategic initiatives across our Enterprise Fraud Management portfolio, including platform packaging and tiering, the global growth of network and consortium based offerings, and the international expansion and continued adoption of our fraud and payment risk products. This individual will lead product domain strategy execution across multiple product lines simultaneously, translating approved product strategy into actionable roadmaps, packaging, launch plans, and adoption outcomes. He or she will represent the product domain to peers, managers, and executives across the company and to external audiences, and will be seen as a central point for customer understanding and commercial insight. This individual will work closely with delivery teams to prioritize new features, respond to customer feedback, and balance new capability delivery with the performance, stability, and commercial commitments of a growing global customer base. The Senior Product Manager II will also actively mentor and informally lead cross functional team members, and will interview and recruit new PM candidates. This role can be home-based in the US with the expectation to be available during off-business hours on occasion to support global team members and global meetings.

Requirements

  • Suggested Minimum Years of PM Experience: 8 to 10 years.
  • Long term ownership and success in leading product lifecycle strategy and planning, including the release of multiple products and features.
  • Development of deep customer relationships that drive meaningful dialogue about the future direction of a product.
  • Demonstrated experience taking tiered or packaged products to market and growing adoption of complex enterprise products domestically and internationally.
  • Strong go to market background, including packaging, pricing inputs, positioning, sales enablement, and launch execution.
  • Fluency in modeling and analytics, with the ability to work shoulder to shoulder with data science and engineering teams.
  • Experience building API first products that integrate cleanly into customer decisioning and operational workflows.
  • Experience in Enterprise Fraud Management, identity, risk, or decisioning product spaces is strongly preferred.
  • A Master's degree in a technical subject such as Computer Science or an Engineering discipline is strongly preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to travel approximately 20%

Responsibilities

  • Gathers, evaluates, and maintains a deep understanding of customer use cases across regions and market segments.
  • Maintains close contact with customers and prospects to understand where the fraud, identity, and payment risk markets are heading.
  • Creates processes that are adept at recognizing customer needs and translating them into productized capabilities.
  • Aligns and coaches the team to ensure customer needs are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Understands competitors, market dynamics, and the regulatory environment across multiple geographies.
  • Segments markets and understands the needs of sub segments in greater detail to inform packaging and adoption strategies.
  • Leverages metrics to track adoption, engagement, model performance, and commercial outcomes, and ensures product efforts move those metrics.
  • Is proficient at pulling and accessing data from multiple sources and managing through data ambiguity.
  • Considers various options to balance complex and sometimes conflicting priorities across product lines.
  • Identifies the most important data to consider, and sets KPIs, priorities, and dashboards for each initiative.
  • Develops hypothesis driven product evaluation strategies, including experimentation and AB testing where appropriate, and assesses the expected efficacy of each.
  • Is comfortable taking an analytical, data driven approach even in situations where rigorous data sets are unavailable.
  • Is fluent in modeling and analytics concepts, including model performance, productization, and how models are packaged and consumed by customers.
  • Develops clear go to market and launch plans through coordinated development with marketing, sales, market planning, and professional services teams.
  • Translates product capabilities into clear value propositions, packaging, and pricing inputs that sales and market planning can execute against.
  • Drafts and supports PR, marketing, and sales enablement collateral, and builds competitive positioning aligned to leading enterprise fraud management benchmarks.
  • Develops or supports pricing strategy, including tiered and packaged commercialization models.
  • Is independently accountable for portions of launch and strategy execution as assigned, including international rollouts.
  • Drives process and external communication for products that will be sunsetted, including plans for migrating customers.
  • Supports and participates in business strategic planning, contributing to sales and business development strategy.
  • Has a thorough understanding of the broader product experience and uses this knowledge to shape comprehensive product designs and prototypes.
  • Drives key end to end lifecycle components, from planning through release and post launch adoption.
  • Has a thorough understanding of the company's SDLC processes, including agile processes.
  • Helps drive solutions for complicated design challenges, particularly those involving integration into customer decisioning and operational workflows.
  • Writes clear requirements for complex features and products, and is responsive to requests for clarifications.
  • Understands how to build API first products that integrate cleanly into customer decisioning platforms, case management systems, and operational workflows.
  • Manages products without direct supervision, involving manager or other senior leaders only when appropriate.
  • Executes against an approved product vision and roadmap, and communicates progress and trade offs across all critical stakeholders.
  • Understands and communicates the need to show a return on investment, and prepares operating budgets for the product.
  • Uses knowledge of competitors and market intelligence to inform product decisions and roadmaps.
  • Writes or supports business cases for investment, including tiered packaging and international expansion proposals.
  • Understands how to use data to drive commercial decisions and growth opportunities for the product.
  • Balances portfolio level trade offs across multiple product lines and geographies.
  • Understands the company's technology stack at a high level, including how platform capabilities and shared services support product growth.
  • Utilizes and extends the company's platform and underlying technologies to create new product features and packaged offerings.
  • Speaks knowledgably with technical, data science, and engineering counterparts about development approaches under consideration.
  • Learns about new technologies to support new product development efforts, including advances in modeling, decisioning, and API driven integration patterns.
  • Is comfortable analyzing data using existing software packages such as Excel, and interpreting model and adoption performance data.
