Sr. Product Manager - MP Systems Telecollaboration
About The Position
You will become a member of the da Vinci® Multiport Global Product Management team helping to lead and support multiple generations of platform solutions across their lifecycle. This is an individual contributor role and will report to a Managing Staff Product Manager. As an upstream strategic and product management expert, you will work with cross-functional partners to guide successful product launches and provide strategic expertise throughout the product lifecycle. Responsibilities for this role will be heavily focused on the strategies and implementation driving global roll out of Telesurgery based on careful analysis of user needs and business objectives. You will become a key development and design stage stakeholder and will be a global market expert helping to guide future portfolio strategy recommendations and budgeting. This role will include travel outside the United States.
Requirements
- Demonstrated prior experience in essential job duties noted above
- Minimum Bachelors degree
- Minimum 4 years in a medical device role with 8 or more years cumulative professional experience
- Global travel is required.
- Valid passport required.

- Extensive prior experience with leading, supporting or integrating networked products (example telehealth)
- Product Management experience in Medical Device Industry
- Professional engineering experience in highly regulated industry (example med device) preferred in software and/or hardware development
Responsibilities
- Consolidate and Segment key user needs across global markets for Telecollaboration in Robotics.
- Conduct global market research and consolidate global data sources to address gaps in market understanding.
- Responsible for driving platform level 5 year roadmap within the team based on global user needs.
- Responsible for Desirability of the Product, documented in Market and Product Requirements.
- Acts as a leader and glue for engineering, clinical, human factors, UX, cyber, service, regulatory, and commercial partners.
- Work closely with the engineering development team to ensure key user needs are translated effectively to design requirements.
- Build alignment on the desired user experience.
- Develop the prioritized roadmap of feature additions for continued development and expansion into new market groups.
- Directly manage and be accountable for market introduction of a new Telecollaboration platform into an OUS market, supporting commercial education, marketing collateral development, commercial training, and transition to local commercial teams
- Support development of pricing and distribution guidelines
- Partner with other Product Managers to build point of view of portfolio fit and strategy amongst platform solutions.
