About The Position

Equifax is seeking a data-driven, user-centric Sr. Product Manager to own the strategy and execution of consumer-facing alerts and notifications across Direct and Indirect channels. This role involves managing the alerts portfolio and leading the productization of new alerting capabilities. The Product Manager will balance technical challenges of deliverability and platform infrastructure with the creative design of engaging consumer touchpoints, aiming to deliver the right message, to the right user, on the right channel, at the perfect time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, specifically focused on notifications, CEP platforms, MMP tools or high-volume transactional products.
  • Strong background in productizing backend services into consumer-facing features or reusable APIs.
  • Proven experience navigating digital privacy and communications regulations (TCPA, CASL) across North America.
  • Demonstrated success leading Agile teams managing complex product backlogs across global architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product strategy for all consumer-facing notifications across SMS, Push, and Email.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for assessing and reporting on alert delivery health, engagement, and opt-out rates, and monitor for improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and operation of new alerting capabilities and enhancements.
  • Work closely with backend platform and infrastructure teams to ensure alerting platforms can scale efficiently with high delivery and low latency.
  • Provide support managing internal and vendor-based alerting solutions and platforms, monitoring performance against agreed metrics and SLAs.
  • Ensure all alerting solutions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customer alerting, overseeing the migration and management of new Consumer Engagement Platform (CEP) and Mobile Marketing Platform (MMP) infrastructure.
  • Provide ongoing support for consumer payments, addressing any issues or challenges that arise post-implementation.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours may be needed to collaborate with cross-functional global engineering and marketing teams.
