Position Overview The Sr. Product Manager, Clinical Studies & SampleMinded Research (SMR) owns the SMR product and vision while partnering with clinical study teams and our Precision Oncology and Screening business units. This role ensures that SMR evolves to meet study needs by aligning product strategy, roadmap, and delivery with clinical, lab, and operational requirements. The Sr. Product Manager drives end-to-end delivery, translates study needs into prioritized product features, and supports study intake where SMR is involved. They serve as the primary point of contact for SMR-related questions and ensure alignment between study expectations and product capabilities by identifying risks, gaps, and dependencies. In addition, the Sr. Product Manager collaborates closely with Clinical Affairs, CASO, lab teams, and IT partners to align on workflows, integrations, and system dependencies related to SMR. The role requires strong cross-functional leadership and the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments, ensuring clear communication and coordination across stakeholders while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality product solutions. This position leads requirement definition, including user stories and acceptance criteria, and ensures that delivered solutions meet both stakeholder needs and product standards. The Sr. Product Manager balances strategic thinking with execution, continuously analyzing opportunities to improve SMR capabilities and support a growing portfolio of clinical studies. While this role engages with clinical programs, accountability remains focused on SMR product outcomes, with broader study execution and IT coordination responsibilities residing within program and clinical teams. The ideal candidate brings strong product management experience, a demonstrated ability to work across clinical and technical domains, and a passion for solving complex problems in support of advancing cancer diagnostics.
