The Sr. Product Designer will play a key role in shaping the future of Aeropay’s consumer experience and next-generation pay-by-bank products. This role will focus heavily on designing and optimizing mobile-first consumer payment experiences, leveraging user research, behavioral insights and rapid iteration to validate and evolve emerging products. This individual will work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Revenue, Customer Success and external partners to create intuitive, high-performing user experiences across onboarding, checkout, rewards and consumer engagement flows. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in consumer UX, payments or ecommerce experiences and thrives in fast-moving, “0→1” product environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of UX/product design experience with a strong focus on consumer-facing digital products
  • Experience designing mobile-first consumer experiences
  • Strong background in fintech, payments, ecommerce, gaming or other high-engagement consumer platforms preferred
  • Experience working on high-growth, emerging product initiatives
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and behavioral UX patterns
  • Strong experience leveraging user research, analytics and customer feedback to drive design decisions
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern product design/prototyping tools
  • Experience using AI-enabled workflows/tools to accelerate design iteration and execution preferred
  • Ability to present concepts and collaborate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external partners/customers
  • Strong communication, storytelling and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Startup or high-growth environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead product design initiatives for Aeropay’s consumer-facing payment and rewards experiences
  • Design and optimize mobile-first user journeys across onboarding, checkout and consumer engagement flows
  • Conduct user research, usability testing and customer interviews to validate product direction and identify friction points
  • Translate user insights, behavioral data and business requirements into intuitive product experiences
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs and interaction flows using Figma and related design tools
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Revenue, Customer Success and merchant partners to gather feedback and iterate quickly
  • Contribute to 0→1 product discovery and rapid experimentation efforts for emerging consumer products
  • Perform competitor and market research to inform UX strategy and product differentiation
  • Help define and evolve Aeropay’s design systems, SDK experiences and consumer interaction patterns
  • Utilize AI-enabled workflows and modern design tooling to improve speed, iteration and design quality
  • Collaborate closely with Aeropay’s UX team to maintain consistency and elevate overall design quality across products
  • Stay current on UX, fintech, ecommerce and consumer product trends
