About The Position

LPL Financial is seeking a Senior Product Owner who will help lead a portfolio supporting the Trading organization’s Data Transformation and technology modernization initiatives. This role is responsible for maximizing product value by managing and prioritizing the product backlog, collaborating with stakeholders across business and technology teams, and ensuring solutions align with strategic objectives. The Senior Product Owner serves as the primary connection between business stakeholders and the Scrum Team, helping deliver impactful products that enhance operational efficiency and advisor experiences.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in product management, consulting, program management, or project management within financial services, fintech, or a related industry.
2+ years of experience in Capital Markets or Trading domains.
3+ years of experience serving as a Product Owner within Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs and translating business requirements into user stories.
Experience collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver technology solutions.

Nice To Haves

Strong knowledge of Jira.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and/or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification.
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience working in fast-paced and evolving business environments.

Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to understand and translate product strategy and business objectives into actionable product requirements.
Collaborate with Product Managers to define and refine features aligned to portfolio goals and roadmap priorities.
Break features into user stories and prioritize the product backlog to maximize business value.
Serve as the primary liaison between Scrum Teams and business stakeholders.
Facilitate collaboration across business and technology teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Communicate product status, priorities, and outcomes to stakeholders and manage expectations.
Support the creation of acceptance criteria and contribute to establishing Definition of Ready and Definition of Done standards.
Provide ongoing product guidance to Scrum Teams and actively participate in Agile ceremonies.
Validate completed user stories and ensure acceptance criteria have been met.
Lead product demonstrations and reviews to showcase delivered functionality and gather stakeholder feedback.
Support Data Transformation and technology modernization initiatives within the Trading organization.
Contribute to the governance and production of executive-level dashboards and key performance reporting.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Provide product reporting and insights that support informed business decisions.
Coordinate and monitor interconnected products, initiatives, and dependencies.
Support portfolio reporting and related operational activities.
