About The Position

Scripps Sports is seeking an experienced Sr. Producer to lead the planning, development, and execution of engaging daily sports programming. In this role, you will oversee all pre-production and day-of-show activities, collaborate with production leadership, and ensure high-quality content is delivered across multiple platforms. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
8+ years of experience producing entertainment, sports, studio, or live television programming.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong editorial judgment and storytelling abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively with producers, talent, editors, and production leadership.
Regular use of computers, production software, and video conferencing tools.

Responsibilities

Oversee scheduling of segments with producers.
Manage show boards and production planning.
Partner with the Co-Executive Producer to stack and plan daily shows.
Communicate creative vision and timing requirements to producers.
Oversee scheduling of shoots, editing, and airing of content.
Support the Co-Executive Producer in overseeing all studio and talent stand-up elements related to assigned segments.
Oversee and produce elements of sweeps programming and weekend episodes.
Collaborate with other Senior Producers to manage content flow and build weekend shows.
Pitch and produce top-of-show elements for daily broadcasts.
Manage in-studio production elements related to talent stand-ups and show segments.
Oversee all morning voice-over and talent needs.
Conduct fact-checking and provide editorial oversight of the final product before feed.
Work with other Senior Producers to manage content flow and ensure seamless execution of daily programming.
