Sr. Process Improvement Engineer/ LSSBB for the Health Plan - Remote
About The Position
Sentara Health Plan is currently hiring a Sr Process Improvement Engineer/ LSSGB for the Health Plan - Remote! This is a full-time, permanent position (40 hours) with work hours from 8am to 5pm EST, Monday to Friday. Remote opportunities are available in multiple states including Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington (state), West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. The role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and optimizing operational processes within the organization to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity. It utilizes data-driven methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement tools to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve overall performance. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement process enhancements, monitor outcomes, and ensure the sustainability of improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED
- 5 years of process improvement or healthcare management REQUIRED
- Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt (LSSBB) highly preferred
- Health plan experience highly preferred
