About The Position

Develops and modifies process formulations, methods and controls to meet quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements, modifications or additions to document work. Reviews product development requirements for compatibility with processing methods to determine costs and schedules. Integrates equipment and material capabilities to meet process module target specifications and technology target specifications. Requires intimate/hands-on knowledge of Multi-Axis Wind Machines, working knowledge of FMEA’s and Control Plans, and experience leading and participating in problem solving (PDCA/A3/RCA). Knowledge of CWS and Wind Machine Programming is also required. This role requires in-depth conceptual and practical knowledge in its job discipline and basic knowledge of related job disciplines. The engineer will solve complex problems, work independently with minimal guidance, and may lead projects or project steps. They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and exercise discretion and judgment. The role involves developing and optimizing continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve output, quality, and cost goals. This includes collecting production data, applying scientific and statistical methods to analyze and document processes, identifying bottlenecks, and devising solutions. Recommendations for equipment, work methods, or process upgrades to improve efficiency and resource utilization are expected. The engineer may also guide less experienced engineers and work on processes for new or complex products.
