About The Position
We’re seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead process design, optimization, and troubleshooting across capital projects and operating facilities. You’ll develop process deliverables, drive technical excellence, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring designs meet safety, quality, and performance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 8+ years of process engineering experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial facilities
- Proficiency with process simulation software and industry codes/standards (API, ASME)
- Strong knowledge of process safety management principles
- Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- PE license preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead process design activities including PFDs, P&IDs, heat and material balances, and equipment sizing
- Perform process simulations and hydraulic calculations (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus)
- Support HAZOP, LOPA, and other process safety reviews; close out action items
- Troubleshoot plant performance issues and identify debottlenecking and optimization opportunities
- Review vendor documents and support procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup
- Mentor junior engineers and review deliverables for technical accuracy
