Provide engineering and technical support for manufacturing non-woven products, specifically focusing on elastic and film products. This role involves active participation in materials, process, project, equipment, and methods definition, development, and optimization. The engineer will plan and conduct experimental evaluations to aid in process optimization, and provide technical support for maintaining, repairing, and replacing equipment for non-woven (elastic and film) lines, as well as modifying existing production equipment to enhance reliability and functionality. The position also supports engineering activities for new products, including new product trials, while applying Lean Manufacturing methods to minimize waste and maximize efficiency. Key responsibilities include executing the Statistical Process Control strategy, leading root cause analysis for inefficiencies, conducting analysis for process improvements, creating documentation for process procedures, supporting training procedures, and executing supplier and customer complaint investigations. The role also involves designing process parameters for new products, elaborating reports for new developments, initiatives, or issues, executing the validation of machinery and computer systems, and Change Control for parts and centerlines. Additionally, the engineer will manage the product structure within the ERP (Build of Materials) and lead Preventive Maintenance plans from a Process Engineering perspective.
