About The Position

Atlassian can hire people in any country where they have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company. This role involves analyzing business objectives, enterprise customer needs, product adoption inhibitors and opportunities, and industry trends to define a long-term strategy and roadmap for platform and product components. It also includes analyzing architectural bottlenecks to define long-term technical strategy and multi-year roadmaps for core Sales, Commerce & Finance systems such as billing engines, quoting/CPQ, subscriptions, and platform APIs. The role requires translating complex quote-to-cash business models and compliance/financial requirements into clear, prioritized technical system problems and architecture roadmaps. Additionally, it involves defining and leading high-impact, cross-organizational technical programs, identifying product gaps, and creating action plans. The position requires partnering with and influencing engineers and architects, taking a systematic approach to engineering problems, and being accountable for the success of initiatives from concept to adoption. Collaboration with UX Designers, Principal Engineers, Architects, and Engineering Directors is key to shaping experiences, system flows, API designs, and scalable platform integrations. The role also drives cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, Finance, Tax, Billing Ops, and GTM, and mentors the Technical Program Management craft across the organization.
