Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector (NGDS) is currently seeking a Sr. Principal Project Manager to join our physical security team. This position is a multifaceted Enterprise physical security and converged network security specialist role for bridging the gap between IT infrastructure and physical facility protection. The successful candidate should have extensive hands-on experience with physical security systems and thrive to take on diverse assignments and possess the ability to communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions to complex problems and have extensive familiarity with modern physical access control systems (PACS) and video management software (VMS) acting as a primary responder for security incidents and root cause analysis.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of Project Management experience.
  • 10 years of knowledge executing the deployment of security and management of security device subnets and firewall rules.
  • At least 5 years experience installing server and client software with a demonstrated understanding of system operational and maintenance requirements to include: licensing, software and firmware updates, virtual ports used for data transmission between system components, bandwidth/storage calculation, and system hardening best practices.
  • A thorough understanding and demonstrate knowledge executing the deployment of security and network equipment following approved topology, design of supporting infrastructure and troubleshooting of integrated physical security systems.
  • Proven track record of serving as the primary incident responder, executing detailed root cause analyses, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive risk-mitigation solutions.
  • Project Manager with deep expertise in full-lifecycle project execution and with a structured approach to site-level risk assessment and countermeasure implementation.
  • Ability to lead and manage projects related to Lenel OnGuard, Digital Monitoring Product (DMP), AXIS, ExacqVision and Milestone.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks within critical deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning and presentation skills are required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with others.
  • Knowledgeable in ICD 705, NISPOM and applicable UL standards.
  • Must have an active DOD Top Secret clearance.
