The Sr. Principal Engineer Electronics will be responsible for developing and executing the program. Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience
Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics Radar subsystems.
Active DoD Secret clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Nice To Haves

Master’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 4 year of related engineering experience
Experience designing, configuring, and installing avionics subsystems
Active DoD Secret clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.

Responsibilities

Performing and executing Statement of Work (SOW) as a Responsible Engineer (RE) for Radar Avionics Subsystem(s)
Manage the program requirements to ensure supplier compliance with program and AV design, test, document and Avionics Weapons subsystems hardware requirements
Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
Collaborate with Subcontract engineers and stakeholders to implement subsystem performance and environmental requirements.
Work to develop design solutions for obsolete hardware.
Travel up to 25%
