Sr. Principal Cyber Software Engineer (TG)
About The Position
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Cyber Software Engineer (Level 2 CNO Analyst/Programmer) to join their team. This role involves providing custom software design and development of specialized tools and techniques, designing and developing end-to-end data flow and tasking into the tools developed, and authoring documentation. The engineer will participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with Government procedures. Programming will be done in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python, developing applications for Windows, UNIX, or embedded/mobile platforms. The position requires a current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance and involves 10% travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or network engineering with 8 years of experience, Masters degree with 6 years of experience, PhD with 0 year of experience.
- Current/active TS/SCI w/Polygraph (through the MD Customer)
- Experience in Python or C/C++ programming
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging systems
Nice To Haves
- Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Software analysis or reverse engineering
- CNO development concepts, tools and techniques
- Unit testing frameworks and practices
Responsibilities
- Provides custom software design and development of specialized tools and techniques.

- Participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by the Government's software development procedures and processes.
