Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Sr. Principal Configuration Analyst to join its team. This position is in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. This role will report to operating Segment Configuration Management / Data Management, and Program Change Engineering Lead and will work directly with Configuration and Data Management (CM/DM-PCE) leadership in a wide array of tasks associated with both configuration and data management disciplines. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Planning meeting agendas, conducting meetings, and recording meeting minutes, controlling technical baselines, and tracking configuration status, performing document reviews to include classification markings, data rights markings, and formatting, Familiarity with development and transfer of technical baselines, and conducting configuration audits. Developing Data Management products, knowledge, and experience with both Contractor Data Requirement List (CDRL) and Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) processes. Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems, must be able to perform research and determine the best option from a variety of options without manager guidance. Plan, schedule and arrange own activities to accomplish objectives. Provide detailed CM/DM subject matter knowledge to both internal and external stakeholders when requested. Represent your organization as a prime contact on your assigned contract or project. Interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations. Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and reporting status Development, implementation, and maintenance of tools/templates for monitoring project progress Preparation of status reports and presentations for NGC internal and Customer meetings Conduct risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization, and ensure compliance to customer and program risk management requirements Planning meeting agendas, conducting meetings, and recording meeting minutes, controlling technical baselines, and tracking configuration status, performing document reviews to include classification markings, data rights markings, and formatting, Familiarity with development and transfer of technical baselines Developing solutions to a variety of complex problems, must be able to perform research and determine the best option from a variety of options without manager guidance.
