About The Position

The Sr. Pricing & Promotions Specialist is responsible for execution of promotional strategy for maurices, in additional to ownership of another key promotional process/task.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a Pricing/Promotions or operations role required
  • Strong demonstrated organization
  • Prior experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment preferred
  • Basic experience with excel
  • Experience setting up promotions in XCC comparable system is a plus
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Collaborative nature, ability to drive cross functional projects.

Responsibilities

  • Owns execution of all promotional offers in promotional system (XCC) including event creation and testing via the following:
  • Understands the functions of the promotional system (XCC)
  • Understands the merchandise product hierarchy to ensure correction execution of promotional inclusion and exclusion needs
  • Ensures all relevant information is gathered from cross functional partners (including Planning, Marketing, Visual)
  • Identifies and escalates any promotional issues during set up & testing, including cross functional collaboration for resolution
  • Attends all key in-season promotional meetings and follows any promotional communication updates to accurately execute critical updates and ensure the promotional calendar is executed as intended
  • Collaborates with cross functional partners on any promotional issues that are discovered through IT ticket escalation process and ensure resolution
  • Identifies and escalates any process pain points
  • Owns a key promotional process/task, which could include one of the following:
  • Store sale direction: manages the creation and cross functional needs for accurate and timely sale direction creation and distribution
  • Promotional Inclusion/Exclusion process: manages all aspects of the inclusions/exclusion files including creation, updates, and communication with cross functional partners
  • XCC system coordination: manages the communication with XCC support team for any issues or additional requests that arise
