About The Position

Blommer has been providing delicious, high-quality chocolate and cocoa products to customers since 1939. Built as a family business, we are continuing to grow and are looking for motivated and reliable associates to help in our mission of Bringing Chocolate to Life! Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Price new orders in a timely manner in accordance to the customers’ po and available contracts. Price customer orders daily according to standard operating procedures, confirming customer purchase order information and pricing. Validate changes are accurately priced and customers are notified of how the changes may have affected the pricing. Suggest solutions and alternatives when we are not able to meet our customer contract requests. Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making. Handle issues in the best interest of both our customer and our company. Escalate unresolved customer issues to contracting department and/or sales team for further investigation and resolution. Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to positively impact the customer experience. Operate within the core values of respect and care for others. Note: The employer reserves the right to change or assign other duties to this position Physical Requirements: General office environment, prolonged periods of sitting, using computer Safety, Quality and Hygiene Requirements: Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and code of conduct Performance Expectations: Process pricing of daily orders with minimal errors Provide support and guidance to Blommer’s customer service, contracting, sales and billing teams Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to positively impact the customer experience Provide backup to other finance teams as needed Ethics - treats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; upholds organizational values.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 plus years’ experience in customer service, preferably within manufacturing environment with strong customer orientation
  • Proficient with: Microsoft Office Suite - including Excel, knowledgeable in developing and using spreadsheets.
  • Customer order management (SAP preferred)
  • Exhibits excellent written and verbal communication
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal), being bilingual is a benefit
  • Displays a keen business sense
  • Detail-oriented, well organized, self-motivated with the ability of multi-tasking.

  • ERP experience preferred (SAP)
