About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as a Database Pricing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing pricing master data, implementing annual price increases, and ensuring the accuracy of pricing and product information in our ERP systems. Additionally, you will play a key role in analyzing and correcting errors to maintain the integrity of various business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, extensive pricing knowledge, and a commitment to ensuring compliance with SOX requirements. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or Associate’s degree in a related field is required.
  • 2-5 years of customer service-related experience is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of Oracle/SAP modules/Business processes for Pricing, Order Fulfillment and Material Master.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX compliance requirements as it pertains to the Pricing Department.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Competitive Job Quote (CJQ) process as it pertains to CJQ functionality, pricing error resolution on orders, and monthly reconciliation process for specific accounts.
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels and areas of the organization – both oral and written
  • High competency level with problem resolution and timely decision making
  • Must exercise strength in effective prioritization, organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to interact with Internal and External Auditors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all pricing master data requirements as it pertains to pricing, implementing annual price increase into the computer, discount structures, customer net prices, sales deals, deviations and exclusions.
  • Analyze and correct pricing and product errors in the foundation to maintain the integrity of Order Entry, Sales/Bex Reporting, Accounts Receivable, and Distribution.
  • Responsible for the validation and processing of customer’s requests for price credits, within 48 business hours of receipt
  • Responsible for the generation of pricing reports, as well as generation and distribution of customer price sheets
  • Run and review daily audits files
  • Analyze audits from customer accounts utilizing ERP data dumps and power pivots in Excel
  • Run Ad-Hoc reports and manage projects as required.
