Pricing Specialist Summary The Pricing Specialist will work closely with other Pricing & Product Group members, operation departments, vendors, and branches with a focus on supporting cost and pricing changes and troubleshooting issues arising from them.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel features and advanced formulas.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of exterior building products.
  • Familiarity with SX.e, SAP/Vistex, or similar ERP
  • Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective branch and vendor relationships.
  • Ability to multitask/prioritize and work quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Generate data reports to assist in cost and price updates.
  • Maintain cost files and vendor contacts.
  • Research and track down costs from vendors.
  • Field questions from branches to help with cost, pricing, and margin issues.
  • Assist with product data maintenance and organization.
  • Produce Ad hoc pricing and product reports as needed.
  • Other duties as directed by the Pricing & Product Manager.
