About The Position

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our Denver office, you will key member of the Industrial Pricing Team, reporting to the Pricing Manager, the Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for managing pricing activities in the Industrial First Fit Market across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. You’ll be working closely with various teams, including Customer Service, North American and Global Field Sales, Product Application Engineering, Packaging, Manufacturing, and Marketing. This is an exciting opportunity for you because you will be generating quotes for Gates-manufactured hose assemblies, with a focus on meeting profitability targets by developing and executing product pricing and profit strategies for assigned markets and customers.

Requirements

  • BS/BA or equivalent (8 years of experience) with 5+ years of pricing experience.
  • Demonstrates a strong foundation in business principles, pricing strategy, and financial metrics, with the ability to manage complex, detail oriented workstreams while effectively prioritizing and adapting to shifting business needs.
  • Highly self-motivated and driven to win, with a proactive mindset focused on identifying high quality solutions, continuously improving processes, and delivering results aligned to business objectives.
  • Advanced analytical capability with a proven ability to translate data into insights, solve complex problems, and drive sound decision making.
  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of the broader Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to build scalable tools and streamline workflows.
  • Experience with ERP and pricing systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, CPQ) with the ability to quickly learn, navigate, and improve system driven processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, build trust, and effectively partner across cross functional teams to drive alignment and results.
  • Exceptional quantitative skills, including a high level of comfort with algebra, equations, and numerical analysis to support pricing accuracy and decision making.
  • Brings a positive, team first mindset with a willingness to be present, engaged, and contribute to a high-performing, in-office team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead all aspects of pricing execution across quoting, price adjustments, raw material agreements, deductions, accrual communications, and production setup, ensuring discipline, speed, and accuracy at every step.
  • Drive timely, accurate, and profitable quote delivery by maintaining a high performance standard through proactive tracking, continuous evaluation, and alignment to broader business and margin objectives.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Sales and cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Marketing, Engineering, GPLM), influencing and executing competitive pricing strategies that balance growth and profitability.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, proactively identifying opportunities to improve price realization, expand margins, and support sound business decisions.
  • Lead item setup end-to-end, including interpreting customer blueprints, building robust master specification cross references, and ensuring alignment across multiple systems with minimal rework.
  • Evaluate requests with a strong operational and manufacturing mindset, ensuring all pricing and product decisions are feasible, scalable, and aligned with industry standards.
  • Challenge the status quo and advocate for the business by identifying inconsistencies in customer or internal requests and delivering well supported recommendations that protect margin while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Set the tone as a high performance leader by demonstrating ownership, accountability, and a relentless work ethic, consistently raising the bar for the team, bringing a positive and solutions oriented mindset.
