Seneca Holdings is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist in Williamsville, NY. This team member will report to the Payroll Manager.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of ADP WFN and payroll processing
  • Knowledge of FLSA and other federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Multistate payroll experience a must
  • ERP system experience
  • Wage garnishment and tax levy experience
  • Union or prevailing wage payroll experience
  • Must be able to work with confidential material/information
  • Must be analytical and have above average organizational and time management skills
  • Must be able to prioritize and work independently or as a team member as needed
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong customer service abilities

  • ADP WFN experience
  • MS SharePoint experience
  • Multistate payroll experience
  • Experience posting Labor in different ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint knowledge a plus)
  • Government contracting environment experience a plus
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic
  • Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated capacity for attention to detail and accuracy of work product
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information, and exercise good judgment and discretion in handling and disseminating information
  • Able to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Complete onboarding of new hires into payroll systems
  • Review timesheets for accuracy
  • Process any/all payroll changes required to process biweekly payrolls accurately and timely
