About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Sr Partner will drive a high-touch, proactive, and consultative full life-cycle search process for MGM Resorts International in order to attract and engage best-in-class senior leadership talent. This role will help to continue to evolve executive recruitment as a center of excellence (COE) through developing our people, processes and tools. This will include, but is not limited to, developing effective sourcing strategies (including third party search partners), delivering a best-in-class candidate experience and ensuring utilization of standardized selection and evaluation procedures. The candidate will be required to collaborate with various stakeholder groups, including human resources, marketing, social media, sourcing, diversity, organizational culture, employee engagement and guest experience. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices and procedures.

Requirements

  • Over three years of overall recruitment experience
  • At least two years specializing in executive talent acquisition
  • Proven track record of building trusted relationships with senior hiring leaders and high-level candidates
  • Extensive hands-on expertise across the entire recruitment life cycle
  • Advanced sourcing strategies
  • Complex executive compensation negotiation
  • Operationally proficient in Workday Recruiter
  • Ability to thrive independently under pressure
  • Ability to seamlessly prioritize multiple critical deadlines
  • Tact, diplomacy, and persuasive communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Advise hiring leaders on search strategy, effective and efficient search processes, and market/hiring trends
  • Manages full lifecycle recruiting process from end-to-end; including conducting initial client briefings, identifying job requirements, sourcing candidates, analyzing resumes, conducting preliminary interviews, recommending qualified candidates and coordinating job offer negotiation
  • Source, attract, and deliver highly qualified passive candidates
  • Assess candidates and make recommendations to hiring managers, manage the evaluation process and hiring decisions, execute candidate follow–up and feedback
  • Partner with sourcing to develop strategies to ensure we meet or exceed or hiring goals while proactively building a diverse pipeline of top talent
  • In partnership with compensation, provide guidance on compensation packages
  • Work closely with recruiting coordinators to ensure a great candidate interview experience
  • Manage outside search firms as necessary
  • Stay abreast of various compensation offerings for executive-level candidates to recommend and review competitive job offers as appropriate
  • Provides work leadership to more junior members of staff as necessary; supports a work environment that promotes client service, teamwork; and mutual respect
