Sr. Operations Project Manager (Onsite) Bryan Dairy Facility - Electronics Division - SMT JOB SUMMARY The Sr. Operations Project Manager leads strategic, large-scale, and high-complexity projects including customer-specific initiatives, new product introductions, and manufacturing transfers. This role provides leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, manages customer relationships, and maintains accountability for project scope, schedule, quality, cost, and overall execution. The Sr. Operations Project Manager serves as a key liaison between customers, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and engineering operations
  • Knowledge of Jabil operating policies, procedures, culture, and guiding principles
  • Ability to effectively navigate diverse global cultures, organizational structures, and business environments
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience in manufacturing, engineering, operations, or related environments
  • Proven experience leading large, complex, cross-functional projects

  • Master's degree preferred
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with customer and business objectives
  • Gather, analyze, and translate project requirements into executable plans
  • Build and lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and milestones
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop integrated project plans, schedules, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Monitor project performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions as needed
  • Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk to ensure successful execution
  • Provide regular project status updates, performance metrics, and issue resolution plans to stakeholders
  • Serve as the primary interface with customers, vendors, sponsors, and key stakeholders
  • Coordinate project activities and drive accountability across multiple functional organizations
  • Support resource planning, capacity management, and forecasting of project-related staffing needs
  • Facilitate effective communication across project teams and leadership groups
  • Coach team members through complex decision-making situations
  • Drive continuous improvement through metrics analysis, lessons learned, and best practice implementation
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and security requirements
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and collaboration across departments and Jabil sites
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
