This role involves oversight of multiple departments and functional areas within the branch to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The Sr Operations Manager will provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and progress of operational initiatives, and communicate effectively with Corporate management and customers to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meeting customer expectations, and promptly resolving any issues. The position requires developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline workflow, improve productivity, and enhance overall efficiency. The role is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial performance, including participating in daily P&L calls with Corporate management, monitoring inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and optimizing inventory management processes. The Sr Operations Manager is responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations. This role involves leading and motivating warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a positive and high-performing team culture. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, is essential to coordinate warehouse operations and address customer needs. The position also engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns, and providing the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts. Collaboration with Corporate is needed to facilitate escalations involving corporate resources for troubleshooting or process improvement. The role requires utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards is critical to maintain a safe working environment. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports, may also be required.
