About The Position

This position is responsible for the strategic planning and management of daily operations, overseeing processes in Trucking, International, client services, and information collection and analysis. The role involves cost control, budgeting, revenue, and profitability management. Key responsibilities include creating and communicating operational and functional reports to upper management for trend analysis, revenue, cost control, and productivity. The position also handles significant human resource functions such as hiring, firing, training, and employee orientation. Additionally, it addresses safety and compliance, ensuring adherence to corporate and government regulations for safety, environmental, and transportation issues. The role requires protecting the company's image through confidentiality and staying updated on industry knowledge through continuous learning and professional engagement. Maintaining company core values and best practices throughout regional operations is also a key aspect, along with performing other assigned duties.

  • Knowledge of transportation modes, traffic routes, trucking lanes and the country's most efficient highways.
  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
  • A degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, or Business or equivalent work experience.
  • 10-15 years of management experience.
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry.
