About The Position

The Sr. Operations Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and management of daily operations, overseeing processes in Trucking, International, client services, and information collection and analysis. This role involves cost control, budgeting, revenue, and profitability, including the creation and communication of operational reports to upper management for trend analysis. The position also encompasses human resource activities such as hiring, firing, training, and employee orientation, as well as safety and compliance with corporate and government regulations. The manager will protect company image by maintaining confidentiality and update job knowledge through continuous learning and professional engagement. Additionally, they will uphold the company's core values and best practices throughout regional operations. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.
  • Job will require presence on-site at the assigned work location.
  • A degree in Logistics, Transportation Management, or Business or equivalent work experience.
  • 10-15 years of management experience and knowledge of the transportation industry.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.
