Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of network engineering experience.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, routing, switching, WAN/LAN, and secure network environments.
- Ability to support classified systems and provide technical leadership.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cloud networking, Zero Trust architecture, Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN), and Air Force enterprise networking environments.
- Professional certifications including Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise, Security+ Continuing Education (CE), Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700), AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty, and Cisco Certified DevNet Professional are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical leadership in the design, engineering, security, and sustainment of enterprise network environments supporting classified and mission-critical operations.
- Architects resilient network solutions.
- Leads routing and switching design.
- Oversees firewall configuration, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Drives complex troubleshooting, technology refresh initiatives, cybersecurity compliance, and technical documentation.
- Ensures network solutions meet operational, security, and performance requirements across defense environments.
