About The Position

Design, implement, and support scalable, resilient enterprise LAN, WAN, WLAN, internet edge, remote-access, and data center networks. • Configure, manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Cisco routing, switching, wireless, and data center platforms. • Administer Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls, Panorama, GlobalProtect VPN, security zones, NAT, security policies, URL filtering, threat prevention, decryption, and logging. • Design and support high-availability firewall environments, including active/passive and active/active deployments where applicable. • Implement and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and route redistribution. • Support Cisco enterprise switching technologies, including Catalyst switches, StackWise, EtherChannel, VLANs, STP/RSTP/MST, HSRP/VRRP, QoS, DHCP relay, multicast, and network segmentation. • Support Cisco wireless environments, including wireless controllers, access points, RF troubleshooting, SSID design, authentication, guest access, and enterprise wireless security. • Design and operate Cisco data center networking environments, including Nexus switching, vPC, VXLAN/EVPN, FabricPath where applicable, and UCS networking. • Develop and maintain network standards, architecture diagrams, IP address management, runbooks, implementation plans, and operational documentation. • Perform advanced incident troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for routing, switching, firewall, VPN, wireless, and application-connectivity issues. • Monitor network performance, capacity, availability, and security events; identify opportunities for proactive improvement and automation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT
5–10+ years in network engineering
Specific experience in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, SD-WAN, and network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication abilities to manage stakeholder relationships.

CCNP, or Palo Alto certifications are highly valued or required.
